The key certification in the payment industry is PCI (Payment Card Industry). EuroCommerce exceeds all industry requirements and is fully PCI compliant. The has been officially by a VISA-approved assesment company called Sysnet.

The Payment Card Industry certification process is very complex and arduous; many companies struggle to achieve certification.  The PCI team reviews technical, financial and other metrics against strict criteria to ensure that the solution and the company adhere to the highest standards of quality and security.


EuroCommerce received top marks in all categories of PCI certification, ensuring that our customers can use our company and solution with full confidence.
The areas covered by the PCI Standard can be broken down into 12 main categories:  

  1. A working firewall properly configured to protect data.
  2. Servers hardened and security patches kept current.
  3. Stored data adequately protected.
  4. All data sent across public networks encrypted.
  5. Anti-virus software used and updated.
  6. Latest Security patches applied, Change Control processes, Secure application development.
  7. Access restricted to data via unique user IDs authentication for each person on the network.
  8. Implementation of strong access control measures.
  9. Restricted physical access to cardholder data.
  10. Tracking and monitoring of all access to network resources and test/monitor.
  11. Establishing information security policies and their updating. Penetration testing performed. Intrusion diction/ prevention.
  12. Maintaining a strong security policy and awareness.
