Executive Team

The EuroCommerce team represent many years experience in delivering payment processing solutions for merchants and infrastructures for banks and other processors. Some key members include:

 

Alan Wyley is our CEO and is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of the company.  He is charged with delivering the Pan European Gateway of choice to EuroCommerce’s customers and partners and continuing EuroCommerce’s impressive growth.  A Chartered Accountant by profession Alan previously co-founded eWare, a global CRM company whose partners and customers included ACCPAC, Mitsui, Computer Associates, TNS Sofres and other global brands and has also worked with Oracle, POINT and Almarai in the Middle East. 

 

Nigel Allen is our CTO and has been with EuroCommerce since 1999.  In this role he is responsible for product vision and direction as well as ensuring our infrastructure continues to deliver exceptional uptime and stability. Nigel has over ten years IT experience and prior to EuroCommerce worked in Zomax and Kao Infosystems were he was a senior developer for the web and ecommerce platforms of Microsoft, HP, Compaq and Novell.

 

Aideen McCracken is Sales Director for the Airline Industry.  Aideen has been with EuroCommerce since 2002 and has deep knowledge of the Airline and Payments industries having worked closely with Ryanair, Singapore Airlines, Alitalia and Navitaire.  Prior to EuroCommerce Aideen worked in Pan European Consumer Marketing roles in Dell and Gateway helping them to define their strategy with regard to online consumer behaviour and payments cultures.

EuroCommerce is part of the DataCash Group PLC (AIM: DATA), a market leading provider of International payment processing solutions, providing merchants with a single interface that allows them to process secure payments, both on and offline, globally. EuroCommerce benefits from active contribution to the business from the following two

board members.

 

Ashley Head, Executive Chairman

Ashley Head, has over 30 years experience in the payment processing/banking industry. He was involved in establishing the business of ProcCyber (acquired by DataCash in June 2006) where he led the business development. Previous roles have included Senior Vice President for the Africa region for MasterCard International and Director of Technology and Electronic Banking for The National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia. As Executive Chairman, Ashley is a full time member of the Management Team, focusing on strategy and business development.

Paul Burton, Chief Financial Officer

Paul Burton, joined in January 2005 as Chief Executive Officer of ProcCyber Services S.A. Pty Ltd. Prior to this he was managing director of Mercantrade (which was acquired by ProcCyber), having previously served as its financial director. Paul holds a B.com, a B.compt (hons) and CA (S.A.), and is a member of the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants. Paul is responsible for the Groups Financial Management and controls.
